I've been flying RC planes and building hovercrafts for years. The LED wiring problem never changes. You hand-solder a mess of wires, spend hours getting it right, then want to change the pattern and you have to do it all over again.
A few years ago I got tired of it. I spent some time designing a controller that could handle multiple LED outputs, run different patterns, and be easy to reprogram. I wanted something I could actually use on my own planes without it being a hassle.
After building a few prototypes and flying them enough to know they work, I decided to make a small first batch for other people facing the same problem.
I'm not a factory. I build and test each unit myself. That limits how many I can make, but it means every one that ships is something I've personally verified works.
