Dihedral (° per side) Generally: more dihedral gives a rudder plane more roll stability (it rolls back toward level after a sideslip), less gives crisper rolls. Shown in the 3D view

Fuselage length (in) A longer tail arm generally steadies pitch; shorter feels snappier. Keep it 40–120% of span

Wing thickness (% of chord) Thicker sections generally help slow flight and give a taller spar; thinner favors speed. Real airfoil shape matters too

The Same Math I Use On My Own Builds

This tool generates preliminary starting geometry from the proportions and sizing rules used in my own foam-board builds — the same rules behind the planes on my YouTube channel. Treat the result as a starting point: verify the structure, balance, power system, and control throws before flight, and fine-tune the balance point on the maiden (start slightly nose-heavy, never tail-heavy).
