I build RC airplanes out of foam board, plywood, and whatever else is on the bench, and I put the builds on YouTube as Eric Robb. EricRobbRC.com is the companion site to that channel — the place where a video turns into something you can actually copy.
The builds run from one end of the hobby to the other. At one end there's a plane cut from a single $1 sheet of Dollar Tree foam board in thirty minutes, flown the same evening. At the other there's a 20-foot cargo plane with 27 laser-cut ribs, an aluminum box-spar joiner so the wings come apart, and a take-apart tail — built against Flite Fest's 55-pound combat limit. Same bench, same hot glue.
I'm not a manufacturer and I'm not a brand. Everything recommended on this site came out of a build I actually did, and when something breaks, the failure gets its own page — the wing that folded in the air, the flying wing that took five attempts, the 3D-printed plane I nearly gave up on. Those are the most useful pages I've made, because every fix started as a failure.

The $1 plane is the build people actually copy — and everyone who copies it then asks the same thing: what motor do I buy? Then: what battery, what prop, what plugs into what, and why won't it fly. So I started writing the answers as tools instead of replies.
They're written by hand in plain HTML and JavaScript. There's no signup, no login, and no account — they run in a phone browser standing at the field, which is where you actually need them:

What I won't do. No undisclosed placements, and never a predetermined verdict — a sponsor agrees the scope in writing, not the conclusion. If something disappoints me, the video says so; that's the only thing that makes the good reviews worth anything. Listings and prices change, so always double-check specs and your own airframe's limits before you buy.
When I get it wrong. Build pages get an "After the Video" section when something turned out differently than I said, and community submissions are reviewed by hand before they appear — nothing posts automatically.
