XT60 Battery
Status Caps

Know Which Batteries Are Ready at a Glance.

A simple red/green visual status system for XT60-equipped RC batteries. Green for packs that are ready to fly; red for packs that have been used and need attention.

Green = readyRed = used

12 Pack one pack = 12 caps

$11.99 per 12-pack · about $1.00 per battery

  • 12 reusable battery status caps
  • Designed for XT60-style connectors
  • Red / green visual identification
  • No stickers or writing on your batteries
  • Helps organize multiple LiPos
  • Great for field boxes and charging stations
  • 12-Piece Pack
  • RC-Specific
  • Made for Builders

Visual organization aids only. Always verify battery condition and voltage with proper LiPo charging and testing equipment.

Green = ready. Red = used.

Stop wondering whether the LiPo on your bench is charged, storage-charged, or already flown.

The problem

Was This Battery Already Flown?

When several LiPos are sitting on the bench or in a field box, they start looking identical fast. You pick one up and have the same question every time:

“Did I already use this one?”

Checking the voltage of every pack works, but it is slow when all you need is a quick visual reminder. These caps turn battery status into something you can see instantly.

Without status caps

  • Batteries look identical
  • Easy to mix used and charged packs
  • More voltage checking
  • Easy to lose track at the field

With status caps

  • Green means ready
  • Red means used
  • Check status instantly
  • Easier battery organization
How it works

Charge. Mark It Green. Fly. Mark It Red.

  1. 1
    Charge

Charge the battery normally, the way you always do.

  2. 2
    Mark it green

Fit the cap over the XT60 with the green end showing. Green means this pack is ready.

  3. 3
After the flight, mark it red

Take the cap off, turn it end for end, and fit it back with the red end showing. Red means this pack has been flown.

One piece, two colors, no moving parts. The cap is the same shape at both ends, so whichever end you leave showing is the status.

Which color you leave showing is a decision you make, not something the cap senses. It cannot tell a charged pack from a flat one.

Why caps

No Stickers. No Marker. No Guessing.

The 12-pack

Enough for the Whole Field Box.

Most RC pilots don’t own one battery. A 12-pack gives you enough caps to organize several airplanes, cars or boats, or every pack you carry for one aircraft, with a few spare.

Cap every pack you own once, then just keep turning them.

Compatibility

Designed for XT60 Connectors

These caps are designed around standard XT60-style battery connectors, the yellow plug on most RC airplane, car and FPV packs. The opening is the XT60 profile.

  • Not offered for XT30, XT90, EC3, EC5, IC3, IC5 or Deans / T-plug connectors. Those sizes have not been tested and no fit is claimed.
  • No connector dimensions are quoted here; if your XT60 has an unusual housing or a cover, ask first.
  • XT60 connector and battery shown for demonstration only. Caps only.

That is the whole pack: 12 caps, nothing else. Battery and XT60 connector not included.

  • CompactSits on the connector, not on the battery.
  • SimpleOne piece. Nothing to adjust, nothing to wear out in normal use.
  • Easy to identifyRed and green, each a full half of the cap.

Only what has been confirmed is listed. No material, rating or dimension is quoted until it has been verified.

Complete your RC wiring setup

Organize It. Label It. Secure It.

Status caps organize your packs. Servo lead labels tell you what each lead does. Connector locks help keep extension connections together. All three are made here.

Caps, labels and locks bought together come to $46.97 at the prices above. Each is added to the cart on its own, so take what you need.

Common questions

Questions before you order

Green means charged and ready to use. Red means the pack has been flown and needs attention: charging, or a storage charge if it is going back on the shelf.
Yes. The colors are only a visual status; what red and green stand for is up to you. Some pilots use green for storage-charged packs that are safe to leave and red for anything that needs looking at before the next session.
No. They are visual status indicators only. There is nothing electrical in a cap: it does not touch the contacts, read anything, or change anything about the battery.
Yes. The caps are an organization tool, not a battery monitor or a safety device. Keep using proper LiPo charging, storage and voltage-checking practice; the cap just tells you what you last decided about the pack.
They are designed around standard XT60-style battery connectors. No other connector size has been tested, so no fit is claimed for XT30, XT90, EC3, EC5, IC3, IC5 or Deans-style plugs.
No. The listing is the 12 status caps only. The battery and the XT60 connector in any photo are there for demonstration.
Yes. That is the whole idea: the cap goes on and comes off every time the pack is flown and charged, with nothing sticky and nothing to wear out in normal handling.
Twelve. Quantity 1 in the cart is one 12-pack.

These caps are visual organization aids only. Always verify battery condition and voltage using appropriate LiPo charging and testing equipment. A cap does not measure charge, protect the connector, or make a damaged pack safe.
